In 2017, Youth Now Canada and the Parkdale Food Centre participated in the Ottawa Community Foundation’s New Leaf Community Challenge. Thanks to a generous donor, the OCF provided a $100,000 grant to support the development and initial programming of Youth Now Farm.
Story coming soon!
The Youth Now Farm is a non-profit venture. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers whose interests align with our mission to help with farm work, donations, or in-kind support.
There will be many opportunities as the summer goes on, and into the harvest season. If you can't help now but are interested in hearing about other opportunities, please let us know.
We've set up a Go Get Funding page for those who are interested in giving to the farm. Your generosity will provide critical operating capital as we progress through our first year.

ABOUT THE FARM
The Youth Now Farm brings together key agricultural activities with youth engagement, youth skills development, mentorship and employment opportunities. This farming project will increase food production for Ottawa residents, raise awareness and access to locally grown food, support the positive development of marginalized youth, and benefit the community and agriculture industry through youth engagement and training.
